  • 1 cup Medjool dates pitted
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Filling
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews soaked for at least 2 hours and drained
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave nectar
  • One tablespoon of lemon juice
  • One teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Topping
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced

  • In a food processor, combine the almonds or walnuts, dates, and sea salt. Process until the mixture is crumbly but holds together when pressed.
