  • 2- inch slices of your most-loved bread whole-grain or sourdough multigrain is recommended
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
  • One teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Half Persian cucumber that has been thinly cut or choose English cucumber
  • 4 oz. Smoked salmon
  • Half cup Microgreens (or Arugula
  • 1 tablespoon red onions that have been picked optional
  • A drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Everything Bakgel Seasoning optional
  • Lemon wedges to serve

Directions

  • Toast the bread Toast the Bread lightly slices and allow them to cool for a couple of minutes.
  • Prepare the Avocado In an individual bowl, crush the avocado using a fork. Add lemon juice and minced garlic (if you are using) as well as salt and pepper. Mix well and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
  • Assemble Toast Place the avocado mixture evenly over each piece of toast.
  • Add toppings Add toppings: Layer the cucumber slices over the avocado. Then add the red onions (if you're using).
  • Garnish with microgreens, then drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with the Everything Bagel Seasoning if you want.
  • Serve immediately and serve with lemon wedges served on the side to add a splash of freshness.
